The middle school a mile away from us had 230 absences one day this week–and whatever is going around has hit our family hard. Jonathan got it first, starting early this week, a flu-like virus with a high fever. Lisa had cold symptoms later in the week. Yesterday Sara caught the fever, and she’s still waiting it out in bed; and this morning I (Tom) woke up with laryngitis (I’ve had a cough for a few days). I’ve had to call off a trip to Charlotte for a missions conference as a result. Jonathan, at least, is mostly better now. Please pray for our quick recovery! Thanks.
